Closure of Grand Palace for Visits on 25-29 October 2017

The Thai government has announced that the Royal Cremation for our late King Bhumibol Adulyadej will take place at Sanam Luang, close to the Grand Palace in Bangkok on 26th October 2017. Although there is no official closure of the Grand Palace during this important time, we have decided not operate Grand Palace tours due to the huge numbers attending this sad event. As such Asia World will close sales for all tours involving the Grand Palace from 25-29 October. For customers with existing Grand Palace bookings Asia World will make alternative tour arrangements during this mourning period. We recommend customers to go outside of Bangkok area and visit Floating Market, Ayuthaya or Ancient City at Samut Prakan.
