Food & Drink

Vietnamese cuisine is among the region’s finest, bearing some similarities to Thai food but is generally less spicy and with more delicate flavours. A large variety of local delicacies can be sampled in restaurants or at street food stalls but, as always, pay attention to the cleanliness of any street restaurant you may like to eat from. The French colonial influence is evident in the baguettes and pastries which are popular throughout the country, and western food is easy to find in most touristy areas and hotels.
