It will probably come as no surprise to learn that Cambodia has a wide variety of handicrafts, sculptures, artworks, antiques and other fine souvenirs. Phnom Penh, the capital, will be the best place to embark on some serious shopping, and while you’re visiting Angkor Wat, expect to be inundated by hawkers, young and old, trying to sell you postcards, books, toys and other trinkets. These can make for some cheap and fun souvenirs, but don’t expect the quality to be as high as in shops in Siem Reap or Phnom Penh.
