Dear Travel Partners,

Welcome to the September edition of our Asia World monthly newsletter.

High season is approaching for our South-East Asian destinations and our teams are ready for another successful season.
As mentioned in previous years, it is very important to book key attractions well in advance. This includes the top ethical elephant interaction parks in Chiang Mai and the most popular Thai cooking schools. Some of our other destinations have attractions which should be pre-booked for the peak season such as the ‘Bali Hai Cruise’ in Indonesia or a specific Junk boat on ‘Halong Bay’ in Vietnam.

Asia World are preparing for our participation at ‘WTM’ in London from 7-9 November, where we would like to introduce you to our new Sales Representative for the UK and Ireland, Gary Bartelings. Gary started his travel career in 1987 with Qantas Airways in Amsterdam, followed by experiences with Qantas Holidays, ‘APT’ in the UK and Germany then spells with ‘Captain's Choice’ in the UK and Australia. Gary can be contacted at sales.uk@asiaworld-travel.com.

Other shows which Asia World will be attending this year include ‘ITB Asia’ in Singapore where our Product Manager Delphine Guillon will be present from 19-21 October, and the ‘USTOA’ in Scottsdale Arizona from 6-9 December where I will be present.

Lastly we wish a belated happy ‘Eid ul Adha’ to all of our Muslim colleagues from around Asia, including our operations in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Best wishes and we hope to welcome you to Asia soon
Stephen
