Managing Director's Blog, November 2018

Welcome to the November edition of our Asia World Newsletter.

I have just returned from the World Travel Market in London, hence the delay with my blog. It was a successful show and I managed to meet large numbers of our partners from around the world.

During the WTM, I received a lot of positive interest in the Philippines and Japan, which are two or our up-and-coming destinations which are gaining in popularity. With regards to the Philippines, please check out our new combination package (Manila and Coron) in our newsletter below.

November is the month for the famous ‘Loi Kratong’ festival in Thailand and Laos. Leaf boats (Krathongs) are floated in the rivers and seas to take away bad Karma from the past and bring future good luck. I suggest Chiang Mai as the ideal destination to witness this spectacle.

Lastly, our hotel of the month is the beautiful ‘Soneva Kiri’ at Koh Kood island, in Eastern Thailand. One to six bedroom luxury villas with your own personal assistant are on offer and access is by the resort’s own private plane, or luxury speed-boat from the mainland. Please contact Asia World for bookings.

Best wishes from all of us at Asia World,
