Dear Travel Partners,
Welcome to the Asia World monthly newsletter for November.
As you are aware, Thailand has been undergoing a period of mourning, following the recent sad death of our King.
Please kindly advise tourists visiting Thailand to behave respectfully during this sensitive period.
Some attractions were closed during the month of mourning but most are now open, such as the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, which re-opened for tourists from 01st November.
As mentioned previously, work has been completed on the new Asia World website which was launched at the end of October.
The improved ‘Travel Agent’ section is now easier to navigate for destination information, tariffs and media content.
One important update which is worth repeating is regarding the peak season bookings for this winter from 20/11/16-20/02/17.
As in previous years, please note that if any of our partner hotels require prepayment or deposits during this busy period, Asia World will pass this request on to our travel partners.
Lastly, Olga and myself will be representing Asia World at the World Travel Market (WTM) from 7-9th November in London.
We will be joined at the Thailand Stand (table 7) by our sales representative for the UK and Ireland, Gary Bartelings, so if you are attending, please drop by to meet our team.
